Wadsworth Library Gift Book Fund

Donations to Wadsworth Library’s Gift Book Fund are a gift the whole community will enjoy. You may:

• Designate a book or other item already in the collection that is meaningful to you
• Mark an occasion or festive event (birthday, wedding, retirement, new baby, etc.)
• Honor a person of note
• Remember someone dear

A commemorative book-plate will be placed in each item purchased, noting the individual, honoree or occasion.

To donate, complete a Gift Book Fund form and return it with your gift (checks payable to Wadsworth Library). Thank you.

Memorials at the Library

• Many people support Wadsworth Library by giving a donation in honor of someone who has died.
• Our Library Director will consult with donors to determine the most appropriate use of each contribution.
• Past memorials include books, DVDs, furniture, and landscaping such as the Library's weeping cherry tree and bench.

Ways of Giving

Donations to the Library and contributions to Friends of Wadsworth Library are two different ways of supporting Wadsworth Library.

• Donations to Wadsworth Library are added to the tax dollars that support the Library’s operating budget and pay for essential services.
• Friends of Wadsworth Library uses membership dues and donations to pay for special programs and items that the library could not otherwise afford.
